This past weekend I was able to go up north to Door County, Wisconsin. My girlfriend’s good friends, Cali & Blair got married. The weather wasn’t so great, but it was still a fun time. The ceremony took place right on the bay inside the Alpine resort due to the rain. The reception was in a big barn, called Fishstock and everything was decorated rustic, including the picture frames and hand-painted palettes. They had a birch wood theme going, which was pretty cool. A live polka band played on the stage and they served a pig roast and fish boil. It was just a really good vibe all-around. I even met two other graphic designers, but because of the open bar and free Octoberfest beer, I forgot their names. Luckily, I was able to pass on my business card to them both. Maybe they’ll get in contact with me one day.
It was a really beautiful wedding and I definitely took some inspiration from their wedding to possibly include in my own one day! Congrats Cali and Blair!
Anyways, we totally forgot to take pictures at the wedding, but the next day was gorgeous outside. We stuck around, watched part of the Packer game and drove around looking at the changing leaves. Door County in October rules. Fall is for sure my favorite time of year.
